Performance Analysis:

Stability

15′ Isle Inflatable Megalodon is the life of the party when it comes to SUP stability. The board is massive in size. With its 56″ width, almost no water condition can destabilize the SUP.

The iSUP itself weighs 50 lbs which makes it even better at maintaining stability on the water.

Maneuverability

Unfortunately, there is no quick turning with the 15′ board. Its considerable weight and dimensions make turning difficult. However, the five fins setup helps to mitigate the problem.

The Megalodon is for multiple paddlers, and coordinating to maneuver an iSUP is no easy task.

Carrying Capacity

The 15′ Isle Inflatable Megalodon Paddle Board can safely support up to 1050 lbs or 476 kg. This carrying capacity is simply astronomical!

For an iSUP, the Isle Megalodon has a surprisingly efficient cargo carry system. The front bungee cords with D-rings can hold a decent amount of supplies & gear.

However, the SUP truly shines when it comes to carrying paddlers. It can even house 4-5 adults with relative ease.

Glide

It is not the fastest SUP out there. The Isle Megalodon is undoubtedly long, but it is also vast. As such, the board glides at an average pace.

15′ Isle Inflatable Megalodon is no race board, but it’s okay for recreational paddling

Ease of Transport

The SUP package does not include a carrying bag. This 15′ board is a big fellow, and it requires just as much space. It is not very practical for the paddler who loves to travel.

Transporting the board is a bit easier with the Megalodon Rolling Travel Bag, which we repeat, does not come with the package.

Ease of Inflation

Great power comes with responsibility. Getting the 15′ Isle Inflatable Megalodon Paddle Board to 12-15 PSI is an intense exercise.

Even with two pumps and two air valves, the giant board takes ages to inflate manually. The good thing is, once it reaches an ideal PSI, the board becomes as rigid as a hardshell SUP.

We highly recommend using an electric pump to inflate the Isle Megalodon SUP.

Value

The 15′ Isle Inflatable Megalodon Paddle Board has a decent price tag. It has a lot to offer to the entire family, and its durability is fantastic. In other words, the board ensures long-term quality service.

Instead of carrying around half a dozen budget boards, it might be better to get one of these reliable giants to bring the whole family on a paddleboarding trip.
